Giorgos Kaoukis

Hi! I’m Giorgos, an AI/ML Engineer at Accenture with a background in systems and machine learning. I earned my Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.

My thesis focused on shell benchmarking and was supervised by Prof. Nikos Vasilakis (Brown University) and Prof. Georgios Goumas (NTUA).

Before joining Accenture, I worked as a Machine Learning Research Intern at the Archimedes Research Unit, under the supervision of Prof. Evaggelia Pitoura. My research focused on corporate fact-checking and explainable AI.

I am interested in operating systems, programming languages, and leveraging ML to build high-performance systems.

Outside of work and research, I enjoy hiking, discovering new music, and reading.
